Wānaka In-Home Nursing Care
In-home nursing care and support for those who want to remain at home.
Working with families who are helping make that possible.
As we age, staying at home for as long as possible is often a preference it's considered part of quality of life. Often not wanting to ask for help, or not wanting to be a burden, can make that harder than it needs to be.
Central Lakes Home Care exists to quietly fill the gap, with the clinical knowledge of a registered nurse and the practical, adaptable presence of someone who simply gets on with what's needed.
Kath is a Registered Nurse with over twelve years of experience in palliative and community care. Where Kath differs from standard home care is in what she's able to offer. Administering medications, managing symptoms as they arise, and providing the kind of attentive, knowledgeable support that reduces the likelihood of hospitalisation. That could look like a clinical visit, help around the house, or an outing to a favourite café, Kath adapts to what each client actually requires at the given time.
While Kath doesn't exclusively work with those living with dementia, it's an area she understands well and provides care that's genuinely well suited to their needs.
